Survey on cooking and kitchen ventilation behavior

Dear occupant of energy efficient housing,

Cooking produces both pleasant and unpleasant odors that can spread throughout your house. Cooking also emits chemicals that can affect health when susceptible people are exposed at high levels. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) is studying how people use kitchen ventilation equipment to manage odors and contaminants from cooking.

As part of this research, Berkeley Lab is conducting a survey of people living in energy efficient homes.
